Here is how it works...

 

You enter your data as numbers: 

5=Excellent, 4=Good, and so on.  

 

So each comment card should read across the excel sheet as you read down the comment card; in other words, one comment card per row.  Fill in the numbers in the highlighted columns; leave the non-highlighted ones blank.  At the bottom there will be a tally of the frequency of each result in each category.  And the graphs should fill in automatically.  It may take you a bit to get all of your cards entered, but then you should be all set.  And

don't worry if there are blank rows left, they are not counted and do not effect the data.  

 

What I then did with the graphs is copy and paste them into a word document for the post-event report.
